I was approved for one pell grant, can I get another one for college expenses? Or is the pell grant just for tuition, etc.?

Each student can only receive one Pell Grant per academic year, provided that they qualify each year.
Pell Grants CAN be used for expenses other than tuition. However, most Pell Grant limits are so low that they usually don't even cover the cost of tuition at most schools.
Contact your school's financial aid office to inquire about other funding opportunities. They can provide you with information about federal loans and private grants/scholarships that you might qualify for. You can also take the opportunity to ask if the school offers any scholarship/grant funding of their own for their students.

You can only get one for the school year but you can apply for other grants that can help you.
