From JFK take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station.
At Jamaica Station, take the E subway to Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street) or to New York Penn Station (34th Street).

From NY Port Authority Bus Terminal it takes about 8 hours by Greyhound bus to Buffalo $78.00 per person each way.

From NY Penn Station its 7:30 for the Amtrak Train to
Buffalo, NY -Exchange St. $71.00 per person each way.

From JFK to Buffalo by plane is 1:30 $144 per person each way.

PS.. Six Flags-Great Adventure is A LOT closer to NYC & JFK than Six Flags-Darien Lake

I'm guessing you're a Sabres fan, Batty? I'm not sure about the city of Buffalo but in Job 40:15-24 an animal which likely could be interpreted as a buffalo seems to have been created favorably by God to be feared by man and untameable. For what it's worth, I doubt the Flyers will go much further (and I am a fan). Peace, Bill

I you can fly Jet Blue to Buffalo, they run multiple flights on a daily basis. They are moderately priced too as long as you book in advance. The flight is only about an hour. Darien Lake is not a close to Buffalo as your thinking though. Its 2 exits on I90 from Buffalo.
