Let say that God gave your 40 years of grace.

From the day you were born until you're 40 years old, should you die between these years, you'll go to Heaven regardless if you were an atheist, a buddhist, or of any religion. Regardless of everything you've ever done in your life.

So, does this sounds fair?

Should this God be a all merciful and all forgiving God, why not?

Plus, according to the 2nd answerer's anology, would the cops care if you squished a couple of ants?

You already have around 10 years during which whatever you do doesn't matter. If you are given another 30, then you will demand a corresponding increase in your lifespan. Maybe senior citizen benefits would be the next demand & women's rights will require a further 10 odd. Physically & mentally challenged would request to be compensated for their disability.

What will you have then? A lawless world with each citizen guaranteed a place in paradise because he deserved it one way or the other no matter what he did to fellow citizens?

Common, you ought to be kidding!!

NO NO NO! This is not the good news of Jesus Christ! There is no way that God would do that. He might have mercy on babies and little children who are too young to understand. But the fact that God is Merciful does not mean that you can live your whole life not even believing in God and still expect to live with him in Eternity! This will never happen and I suggest that you go crawl under the covers for a while and have a GOOOOD LOOOONG TALK with God. Good Gracious I've never heard such nonsense 40 years of grace. The only way for u 2 have grace is 2 give ur life 2 God! If you've ever heard of the tower of Babell that's exactly what your doing. Trying to weasel your way into heaven. You believe what you what u want but i say ur WRONG!!!!!!!

The gate of heaven is open to all souls whether they be good or evil, buddhist or atheist..... it is the condition of the soul upon entering the afterlife that determines where our first home will be. Even the most evil of mankind will go to heaven but they will find themselves in a much darker place than those who do the right thing in their earth life. Fairness has nothing to do with it, our deeds, thoughts and love have everything to do with it. This is merely my belief..:)

It would be more fair if instead of 40 years of life before we get to heaven we could just see an end to all disease, poverty, corruption, hate, arrogance, ignorance, bigotry, hunger, intolerance, and war before we get to heaven. But then that would make Earth Heaven and there would be no need to dream up a Heaven in the first place.I think people dream of Heaven because of the ills of the world and they want to go there to find peace. It would be more fair to humanity if everyone tried to make Earth into Heaven.

But isn't heaven the provenance of those who believe in God, follow His ways and live according to His laws and seek forgiveness for their sins?
So why should you get there under your own steam? Why should you live an ungodly life and then expect to spend eternity with God?
You live your life your way, and when you get to heaven, God may just say "Who the hell are you?
You can't "earn" heaven by the number of years you lived.

40 years of grace.. Grace can be such an ambiguous word. It leaves much to the imagination of the person answering this question.

It all depends. Are we on a test, is there freewill? What is the point of us living in the first place?

If there is a God, I would not dare consider what is fair and what is not fair.

Not at all ,40 is not enough time to hang your shoes, even God would laugh at u. Heaven calls it's angel at it's own pace, your job is to live it to it's fullest and see how u do. Life not suppose to be easy. It take years to learn right from wrong .

No not at all if it is true then all the people in world can do sin without any fair. and suppose it is true then why different Governments give punishments to the people for their sins below 40 thsi mean they are doing agianst God's teaching. so people who think it is true and think that Bible is God's word then they should see is Bible really God's Word!!!

Actually, it sounds unfair. But I'm happy that you made it to heaven regardless of your sins. That's true. You need REPENTANCE. THat's the 'good news' of the L-rd that He came down Himself here on Earth.
