Because as long as there are gay people and Atheists they are more concerned with attacking those groups then they are following all their little rules.

1. Biblical commandments are not open for selective implementation, neither should they be. They are being totally ignored.

2. People are actually using their brains. Look what is happening. Isn’t what is happening the cause for you posing such a question?

3. Definitely the army is not turning the other cheek. Look at all the atrocities done everyday in Iraq; raping and killings of innocent civilians.

4. No, Jesus was not mistaken. He was gentle, peaceful. However, turning the other cheek is not obligatory. The law also states an eye for an eye. Therefore, it is an aspiration. If you are able to do it, you will be held highly in the eye of God.

i'm a Christian and that i don't stick to the 10 Commandments... They have been nailed to the pass with Christ (Col 2:14). The previous testomony is for our gaining awareness of (Rom 15:4). It exhibits us how severe sin fairly is, It provides us examples of faithfulness, etc. yet getting back to the question: Jesus' sacrifice on the pass did soooooo many stuff. It blotted out the previous regulation and delivered forth the hot (Hebrews is a huge learn alluding to that reality). He gave us the desire of eternal life by employing his perfect occasion and blood that replaced into shed (Eph 2:12 &thirteen) and he bought His Church with that blood besides (Acts 20:28).

Because most proclaimed Christians are following a false religion and there is an absence of God. Once a person is born again they stay away from sin and go through changes. Most heathen acting Christians who go to church on Sunday but live like the devil the rest of the week and feel that they never sin, when the truth is, we are all sinners. I am a born again Christian and I do follow the Commandments.

The First Original Ten Commandments State Thou Shall Not MURDER not KILL. It is other people who translate it that way to better understand it. There is a difference between the two. When you kill someone out of defense or out of punishment. Then that is just killing but if you kill someone out of meanness and spite then that is murder. I'm sure Our Military doesn't enjoy killing people. They do it for their country and to protect their own lives a well as the lives of others. Think about it w/o the Revolutionary war we'd all be British!

The Commandments are for the followers only. The Religious Leaders have their own sets of rules.

We're not a Christian nation. Last time i checked all of our documents were written by Deists and not devout Christians. If you think our army should turn the other cheek then i am glad you are not our leader.

Jesus was referring specifically to religious persecution when he spoke about turning the other cheek.
Jesus taught us to forgive and pray for our enemies...but never did He ever teach that we should just let people abuse or take advantage of us.
On the contrary, He had some very harsh things to say to people who preyed upon the weak.

What Christian nations?
As far as I know, there are no Christian nations left on earth. The United States and the nations of Europe are secular.
