Hi,

I am female, 5' 4" weighing 140lbs (64kgs). I am trying to loose weight by either playing squash or swimming once a week and going on treadmill everyday (7 days) for at least 60 minutes (running and walking). I have been trying this for the last one month. I can not go to gym as I am going to school full time and working. I have lost only 2 pounds so far. It means I am on 138lbs (which again sometimes comes back on 140lbs b/c of benging eating). I am taking only 1000 calories per day, eating veggies, fruits, drinking lemon water and taking fewer carbohydrates. My bro wedding is coming up and I want to look good on that. My target is 130lbs (58-60kgs). My friend told me that may be I am gaining muscles, which weighs and makes me look fat.

I am wondering that what I am doing wrong here? Also, I am bengin eater, will eat 7 days good food but for 2 evenings, I will eat bad food, and will waste my all hard work and diet plan. Please I really need your help. Thank you very much.

I wonder, how did you come to the magic weight 130 lbs?
What does your bone structure like - small, med, or large?

I'd encourage you to maintain your fitness and eat. Don't worry so much about how good you look. If you're getting regular exercise you probably feel much better than the times you aren't working out. So take that energetic feeling, when you feel loose, vibrant and alive and acknowledge in the mirror all the work you've done to look and feel as well as you do at the present moment. Then decide, "I look and feel the best I can right now. I'm gorgeous (Or at least O.K!)".

Then smile, and go have a nice hot cup of coffee - it works wonders.

According to my taste, 5'4", 140 1bs is alright!, especially if she can do jumping-jacks! I like 'em a little thick.

Ok. First thing, keep doing wat your doing excersicing wise thats great. Then, go to your fridge, cabinet, etc. and gather all the unhealthy food. Throw it away and kick it to the curb! Meaning you need to put the trash where you cant get it at all! Some people who go on binges go so bad that they go through their trash! If your fridge looks empty or sad (lol sorry I had to add the sad part!) then go to the grocery stores and dont buy food that has more than 100 calories or 50 grams of suger per serving. Your fridge should still look kind of bare so you have less risk of binging. I really wish you the best of luck and I hope you look FANTABULOUS for your brothers wedding!

If you're 13 don't even try to get a six pack. You don't need to lose weight either, you're fine. If you feel a but chubby, just go run, wait until you're 15 to do any real working out. However, push ups are always good, but sit ups when you're 13 wont do much because that's when you're upper body starts growing, so it would have little effect

First, if you meant binge eater, that's an eating disorder =/
Second, you should never consume less than 1200 calories a day.
Muscles are more dense than fat. This means that if you are 140 lbs but fat you will be bigger than if you weigh the same but are muscular. It shouldn't make you look fat, but more toned.
Perhaps you have a skewed view of yourself?
Overall, I'm worried for your health =/

The binge eating is putting the weight on you.If you can get that under control bet you loose the weight fast.Good Luck

keep going and try to avaoid the unhealthy binges.

It is hard, I know as the exercise makes you hungrier and you think an odd treat won't matter. It feels like you have earned it.
