Yes, it is very unattractive to see a thin person with a "beer belly."
Some people here have brought up the subject of malnutrition. Most alcoholics have some form of malnutrition going on, that in itself contributes to this appearance...

None of us can tell you if someone is unattractive to you or not. That is your decision to make. If your thinking of dating this person but only if he/she is considered attractive first, I have a suggestion. Hold your hand out flat and slap yourself across the cheek, then leave that person alone and get some maturity.
