I be with her for 2 years now, and this is the 1st time she lied to me about someone. I know pretty much that this guy likes her, and she also knew it. Do you think asking her to stop going out with him is a wise thing?

You can't control anyone. You can only control your self. If you ask her to stay away from him it will either push her closer to him or she will just sneak around to see him behind your back.
You have been together two years, just trust her. Be supportive of her, even if it's not what you really want, fake it.
She may like the new attention from someone else, but she probably really wants it from you. Do little things to tell her you care. Buy her flowers one day, send her cute text messages telling her how much you care, write her a love letter...
Jealousy is completely natural, you just have to learn with time how to deal with it. You know you could let her have a taste of it, too, by getting some girls that are just friends.
Just wait and see what happens and if dude takes your girl then kick his *ss!!!

Thats how some girls are...the shits happened before, I think its happened to a lot of guys. Girls will run to other guys when they feel like their relationship is on the rocks or they are not getting what they want. The biggest misconception is the old saying "you want what you cant have", so if she really is into playing these games where shes spending a lot of time with this guy...go hang out with a girl...and in all honesty...that drives girls nuts...because its ok for them to be running around having "friends" but once you get one...they will drop that guy in a heartbeat because they know someone else finds you interesting enough to spend quality time with you...
....it basically breaks it down to if she cant have you...no one can....
...it also does matter the type of girl you are dealing with...from my personal expierience...what I said..works.

go to your local bar and get completely wasted then the next morning leave her then go get wasted some more and do the first good lookin hoe that will let you. i just had the same thing happen to me about 2 weeks ago with a girl that Ive been with for 3 1/2 years and i would never take lying just not my thing. And never trust another woman scandalous

If she is going out with him without you she might be sending him the wrong message, but as long as she and you let him know there is no chance for more than friendship then her being friends with him shouldnt be a prob just so long as she is not leading him on

sigh! some girls just want attention. and they dont know how much they hurt the person who loves them.
ask her to stop . take a stand. tell her you dont apprecaite it.
