Why should we remember the promises made by a person (OK Great Person) 2000 years ago !!!

Lets start with This promise:John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Many are the promises of The Second member of The Godhead but they ALL center around the fact He paid A terrible price FOR YOU and HE "WILL" come again to claim what IS HIS, and He does return in everyones lifetime, perhaps at the end of it but He does return and the biggest question is this WILL "YOU" BE READY, because READY "OR NOT" He WILL return, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org bible questions www.bibleinfo.com talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless you

There are many.

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

John 5:25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.

John5:28 "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.

So you see, that's only a little bit.
