I just got back from Vietnam and over there it's 15 hours ahead of where I live. I can't sleep at all. I have to go to school too. On top of that I'm really sick. Any advice on how I can get use to the new time?

I've worked shift work all my life, so can understand what you mean. I read it takes about 24 hours per hour you need to get used to in order to adjust. So, if you need to adjust about 15 hours... give it at least a couple of weeks before you start to feel human again.

Good advice on the rest. I'll add to that: drink plenty of water!

Water will help your body do its "biology-voodoo" much, much better. It will also help "wash" any toxins that may be stuck in your body due to the biochemical changes that result from modified sleep patterns.

Water, my friend! Water will help to lubricate your joints and take pressure off your circulatory system, so your body extremities and organs will get oxygen faster and replenish themselves more fully.

Yes, extra water is key to your quick adjustment!

Take a bunch of nyquil, if you sick it will be even better. Sleep, when you wake up. More nyquil. Sleep. eventually you will wake up and be in sync. I used to have to do this all the time.

You have to get some sleep and reset your inner clock. Its frustrating but you'll adjust naturally
