Is this going to affect my bloodwork results?

Ok I feel stupid. I was supposed to fast for 12 hours, not 24 hours. I have to do some thyroid test. Is this going to affect my results? *slaps self in face. DOH!

As long as you haven't eaten in 12 hours, it should be fine. Notify the lab tech though.

No it shouldn't. if you had eaten --then yes, but fasting longer then they said you have to shouldn't bother.
