I highly recommend Dave's program. You can listen to him 3 ways, on your local AM station (go to his website and click "find a station") or listen to him live 2-5pm on his website for free or you can listen to two weeks of archives from your computer without subscribing to the total money make over. (If you want his pod-cast you can get one hour per day free but if you want all 3 hours you need to be a member of the total money makeover subscription based portion of his website and it is included in the membership fee.)

His books and financial peace are not over priced. He often has books on sale for $10 and when not on sale they are about $17 on his website. His financial peace is often $135 for a 13 week program (how much is a membership at the YMCA or how much is your cable or cell bill for 13 weeks??) and it is a life time membership- you can go back to FPU (financial peace university) as many times as you wish.

You can usually pick up his books and/or audiobooks at your local library. You can't beat free! (You can also download from torrent sites, but that's illegal.)

Clark Howard has free podcasts on his site that go back to November. Granted, it isn't the same advice, but there are some helpful things in there, too.

I'd also suggest you watch Suze Orman on CNBC. They're all great resources.

It's not really an infomercial, he does offer good advice but I think he is way over-priced, especially if you are trying to get out of debt. Opt for the 7 day program and read through all the programs and forums, take what you need then cancel.
