I thought she looked very cool, provocative and mysterious. I wanted to get to know her better, that's for sure.

When I saw Kelley for the first time, in January 1987 when she transferred into my school (our Junior year), I turned to my best friend Mario and said I was going to marry that girl. It was the absolute first thing that came into my mind--a moment of perfect clarity.
Well, it took 14 years of pretty much just being close friends (and helping each other through other bad relationships and marriages) but I was right, and we have two beautiful children to show for it.
