when i am talking to someone face to face, i noticed that they will begin to back up from me, because the more i talk , i shower them with spit, it is embarassing, what can i do?

Just keep swallowing...this happens to a great deal of people so don't get uptight abot it.

It's a matter of practical politeness by keeping in your mind 'not to spit at all'. I know it would take time and self-discipline, however it would be good for you and those speaking to you. It is sadder when I once in a while see some drivers spit on the road, I wonder what they think and why they do so, it might be their familiarity.

You can't, it happens with everyone, to everyone. Lowering your voice could help. But then you might end up spitting in their ears.

Slap yourself very very very hard every time you spit or think you might have spit. Guaranteed to make you stop spitting.

see the ceiling or the sky and talk, afterwards see the face who you are talking to.

or

you hold a little piece of clean paper on you lips ( 5cm away from your lips) and talk, it works.
