As far as I know, it's hereditary and probably your parents and/or your relatives were the same. It has something to do with your hair's ability to produce melanin at the roots of your hair. So when its production stops, the new hair sprouting from your head loses color- making it white.
It's normal as I know people who acquire white hair even though they're teenagers :)

I had friends with this problem in HS. I know it can be frustrating, and embarrassing.
The real reason the hair color changes has to do with the pigment in the hair follicle. I know one way to combat it is to thoroughly dry your hair. If you allow water into the follicle it can cause discoloration.
Some people think stress brings it on...but science hasn't really proven that.

Some people have a few white hairs, a lot, pure white spots or all white hair. It's in your genes, it's harmless

should be genetic, i used to have friends in the teenage years with lots of them too, their family members have the same problem.

some of my female classmates also have white hair. i think it's hereditary but im not sure..

it could be due to a nasal problem, or regular cold, get it checked, it could also be in your genes
