so far i dont see any thing wrong with this theory, but if you do, then tell me.
First god made the earth, life and evolution. The basics of animals were made by god, and then let evolution keep it going. Because god had more important things to do then making animals better. like working on other things he made (things we dont know about) once we were made, god started to tell us to worship him, because he was the creator of us. Evolution did not fight god b/c it made them and god was taking the credit b/c evolution is a force, like a robot, even if evolution made humans, god was in general the creator and to this day people fight over which one is true, when i think they both are.
does anyone here think thats a good theory?

From my stand point, the problem with this theory is that it says "The bible is kinda true but not reliable". It also says "Evolution is kinda true, but its not natural". Creationists start with a framework that the bible is true and reliable and all things natural can be explained with or will fit into the framework of the bible. Evolutionists start with the premise that there is no God, and try to explain all natural things without him.
So, to say things happened this way is asking creationists and evolutionists to through out their framework entirely and believe something that has no foundation for them at all.

You have a good point here. What reliable source says that God did not _use_ evolution in his creation? If we say that God only created everything as they are without any chance for change or that God evolved all life from a single basic ancestor, and indeed that god utilized both ways is putting Him in a box--we are confining the infinite power He has.
However there are certain aspects of both theories that we must keep in mind when viewing this topic. One the setting in which the Genesis account was written. And two neither theory can be answered fully. The creation account in Genesis was not written (as popular belief) by Moses. It was actually composed during the Babylonian exile. “It served as a refutation of Babylonian theological claims. The Babylonian gods seemed to control the future. They had, it appeared, defeated the dreams of the God of Israel. Against such claims, it is here asserted that Yahweh is still God, one who watches over his creation and will bring it to well-being. While our interpretation should not be limited to a situation of exile, that context should not be neglected because it enhances the force and vitality of the claims made for the God of Israel” (Brueggemann 25).
We must remember that with science and the searches into evolution that science can only tell us the processes of how things have happened, not who has been causing them to happen. Science and the Bible are two different sources, they are not even on the same table. "Both sides assume that the Bible is supposed to give us scientific information" (Haught 8) which it does not. At the time it was written the Greek philosophers were just toying with the concept that life had grown from a base element.
Sadly where we are today in the huge debate of creation neither side will listen to the other respectfully. Your theory is good, but it has a deistic flavor. Meaning that God started everything here and then left the world to spin on its own. This view negates the reason for Jesus to come into the world as well as putting God in a box (yet again). My friend it is a good start. Keep going, keep refining--that's what I'm constantly doing.

The bible is kind of specific about the creation. in Gen.1 :5 a day is spelled out and a day is a literal day. also Gen 1 says god created light on the first day, the plants and trees on the third and the sun on the 4th. ( see a problem?) it goes on to say that god created the animals, birds and fish on the 5th day and man (adam and eve) on the 6th day...turn the page.
In Gen 2: 17-20 it says that god created man and he was lonely, so god created the animals and birds...man was still lonely so while he slept god took a rib (why he couldn't have used more dust...i don't know) and created woman. these stories are separated by paragraphs and are contradictory.
So, to use the bible as a historical document for the origin of life or species is a mistake. It also is not testable, provable and is improbable by a long shot.
Evolution has stood up to testing for over 150 years, comes with evidence, leads to other branches of science and is accepted as fact by nearly all biologists. I challenge you to check the credentials of any scientist that accepts creation over evolution. (a PHD at the end of ones name isn't always credible. what is the PHD in and from what school?)

hmmm... I've had the same theory, assumptions for a while myself, This planet is definitely older than what christian biblical times would have you believe Adam and Eve were around has it (by a looong shot), so if it only tood god 7 days to create everything including earth, why does earths calander pre-date farther back (fossil records)... well if you say that monkeys appeared on the earth when scientists beleive they did, then everytime you put a shovel into the ground you would have skull or body part... everybody agrees with that, so scientists say a meteorite (killed a majority of the monkeys at some point and only a few species of monkey survived (one of them happens to be humans)... so in this theory everybodys happy, scientists have worked out all of the quirks to explain exactly what happened all the way back to the primeordial ooze which created life (but what is that?) you say god created bacteria and from that evolution happened? I don't think that god created a 2 monkeys and named them Adam and Eve. But who knows what a day is like for god (7 days) god may have let all this happens evolution with animals like you said... then on the 6th day created humans (what is really more like 20,000 years ago) billions of years past the time earth was created. I don't lnow the exact timeline off hand. Check out this site if you are interested...

These two items are incompatable with each other. Creationism is a belief structure of Christians. Evolution is a belief structure of science. If this is something you need to resolve for your inner peace, then you will have some work to do. Look at the "in the beginning" as an easily understood story for Christians over 2000 years ago. Could people at that time period have understood 2% of what we take for granted in our daily lives? Telephones, computers, flight, etc. No? Then how would be believe that a compassionate God would tell us a beginning story that we would not be able to understand. So, each "day" could be billions of years. For who are we to determine how long a day is for God? Does this question really have a day to day effect on your life? If we were meant to know, we would. Just breathe.

As good an idea as any other but unable to be tested. If you substituted the words "unexplained event" for God in your theory it would still work.
Why does there have to be a God in this theory to make it relevent? The reality is that humans need to have answers to everything and if we cannot find an answer we can understand we assign the activity to God. When we do find explainations we still stick with God being responsible for everything else we don't understand and move on but accepting that not knowing does not mean that anything has to be Gods hand is not possible for many people.

I look at it like this... God already told us how creation happened and scientists are getting closer and closer to proving that for us. And as far as evolution, God tells us things will change. He set it up that way and we are again trying to find proof and create theories without all the information. I sometimes wonder if God isn't watching us find all these things and smiling as we are in awe of His creation. So, I wouldn't worry about the details of the theory but realize that all things are possible for God and simply accept that He is much bigger and smarter than we are! Good question - great point.
Be blessed!

First of all God with a capitol "G" created this world.
What he created has not changed. Some species have became extinct, but there is no process of evolution like they make up in the public school text books.
Evolution is not a force; it is a lie.
Mankind was made in the likeness of God..."in His own image". We ARE important to Him.
So important that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die in our place so that we might be able to have a reationship with Him.

You are probably closer to the truth, then most who "know " they are right
lol
I've often wondered...there were two kinda cavemen in 32,000 bc
then a third popped up
by 30, 000 there was none left but one breed, a new breed
US
this is science...but maybe that's like adam eve and cain or something?
Cuz I believe the bible literally only from abaraham on....everyone knows (or maybe they don't) moses recieved all the stuff prior to that "by inspiration from the spirit"
so some of it MAY be figurative, maybe not
200 years could be 2,000!

That's an oversimplification, and contradicts the only true word of god, the holy bible. So if you don't believe the bible is the word of god, I'm sure twisting the meaning to fit whatever fits nicely in your life style is pretty hypocritical.
Either you believe in the jealous earth flooding god, or you don't.
