Duh, Muslims. Christians might get a little fanatic about dancing in the aisles, but at least they aren't going around cutting people's heads off for the slightest offence, according to some insane 7th century code.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE (including you) WHO TRY TO IMPLY THAT THERE IS A COMPARISON of the greatest religion in the world, to violence disguised as a "religion of peace."

If you mean the militants within both camps, then I guess there is no difference, but fundamentalists in both camps insist that violence is not condoned by their belief systems. That being the case, there is nothing to ascribe the pejorative 'worse' to, unless you are a bigot.

If people want to believe the teachings of their holy book, why should that bother anybody else?

The only possible sense I can make out of your question is that you're tweaked by the political agendas of both groups. But isn't that what freedom of speech & democracy is about? Everybody brings their ideas to the table and then we vote. Rational debate is what we need, not name-calling.

Against this, some will argue that all fundamentalists do is call names. That is NOT true, but even if it is, two wrongs do not make right. When one has the facts, one argues the facts. When one runs out of facts, one calls names.

Unfortunatly thats a common mistake, people mix up between the term fundamental and extreme, they use them as if they have the same meaning.
A fundamentalist is one who follows and adheres to the fundamentals of a doctrine or a theory, and thats a positive term, for any1 who wants to be good at a certain field, he should adhere to its theories, like a good doctor has to know follow and practice the fundamentals of medicine.
thus, a fundamental muslim is one who adheres, follows and practices the fundamentals of islam. and since islam means ''peace'', the fundamentals are those who follow the fudamentals of the religion of peace.
those who dont follow the fundamental doctrine are the ''extremist'', wether they r terrorists or those who stand on the other extreme side of the conitua having nothing to adhere to, except their own desires!
Bottom line, fundamentalism is good, and there are alot of muslims who DO adhere to the islamic doctrine, which ppl usually call them ''moderate'' lol
as for the fundamentalist christians, (no offense to any1) im afraid there is no christian who adheres to the fundamental doctrine of the Bible, simply bec. the original doctrine was lost long time ago, for whatever reason that was!!

Christians for sure. The Muslims are simply defending their homeland against the invading Christians.

Of course, this counts 9/11 which was a relatively small attack compared to Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, it should be mentioned that neither Osama has been found (the designer of 9/11) nor were any of the attackers from Iraq.

Fundamentalist Christians.

Fundamentalists Muslims abide by the Qu'ran and all the anti-fight verses that says under no circumstances shall you fight unless you are under siege, or else Allah won't give you permission to fight, also verse 29:20 that says "Travel the world and see how Allah originated creation", which means Allah encourages us to study the world.

While fundamentalist Christians are dogmatic and hates everyone else that is not Christian.

P/s: You can't count Islamic extremists as fundamentalists, they totally ignore the anti-war verse and "suicide = Hell" verse.

i'm so relieved when I hear yet another Christian say some thing that i've got been thinking all alongside. i replaced into taught to love my associates as i like myself besides added to boot loving God that's maximum considered necessary. i wish that we are continually loose to coach faith as we see in nice condition. in spite of the indisputable fact that there is a large difference in that when Christians kill all of us agree that's misguided and are not sympathetic to their undertaking of homicide and the Muslims are. additionally as I even have not study their sacred text textile the Koran and that i've got viewed some very traumatic comments with regard to the e book in this dialogue board yet I even have additionally viewed expenses from our text textile that are traumatic the way they are used. until I study it for myself i'm unlikely to assert that that's perverted. maybe that's what he stated muhammed I recommend to kill each and all the infedels. At any fee regardless of the indisputable fact that all Muslims are no longer terrorist motive on killing us yet there are a procedures too many that sympathise and help the terrorist. i come across that traumatic. Like we would not come and kill you in case you probably did no longer help Isreal is the mindset you get from numerous. yet if by way of the lack of ability of love the individuals claiming to be contributors of God's church motives human beings to tutor much greater far off from God then maybe that's merely as undesirable. in my view i might go through actual death previously religious death if I had that determination. To by no skill enter into God's presence is horrific. And what if the fundamentalist Christians have quite for the duration of the a while triggered the dislike of the Muslims. I even have been praying for God to artwork a miracle in Bin weighted down's existence so as that he will lead his followers down the path of love and reconciliation the place all of us recognize that God abides. maybe you may connect in my prayer.
