You know, the "dog smell" doesn't seem to be as strong, at least not with our Boxer and others I've met. Not sure if this is true for all Boxers, though.

I have had boxers all my life and they have never just naturally had that dog smell- either they just needed a bath or the had stinky ear mites-boxers get these quite a bit so keep the ears clean. I think Boxers are all around awesome dogs. They are easy to train and super fun to have-lots of energy and great with kids.

no dog smell from boxers.. they are great dogs, i have one myself
im trying to find something that a person may not like about them, but im having a very hard time
the only reason you may not want one is because they do have a lot of energy.. but as long as you have a yard they can play in, or you are able to take them for a walk everyday, you should have no problems with them
they are such wonderful dogs

Any dog can "smell", and dogs with skin issues (like allergies or seborrhea) will stink more than regular dogs. Boxers sometimes have skin issues, but not as often as some breeds (like Cocker Spaniels)

YES THEY DO!!!
Boxers are some of the stinkiest dogs ever, I always refer to them as the "scratch n sniff" dog, because they don't seem to smell so bad until you scratch them.

Dog "smell" is not a breed problem, it's usually an owner's lack of education about their dog. He may have a skin condition, need a grooming, or anal gland excretion.
