Yes I would, unless it is a 15 year old going out with a 25 year old/... 20 with a 30(male) is fine .. to me.. it really depends on the person

I would not want to date someone 10 years older than me. That means they have been "around the block" a few times and have "been there, done that" to things you haven't gotten around to it. Also, although the ages may be close, they still cannot relate as well as people of the same age can about subjects.
For example, my brother is 7 years older than me(i am 22.) I am pretty savvy with electronics (computer, cell phone, etc) but to him, it's new and difficult for him. I am not saying that all old people are like this, but it shows you the difference in surroundings and culture.

Society generally does not think twice about ten years difference if it is the man who is older, after both parties are over 21 of course. The important thing is how the two people feel about each other and are they willing to put forth the commitment to each other. In later years, age is just a number. On the downside there is the lack of growing up in the same era......He remembers disco and I remember big hair bands type thing.

It's not the age, it's the things people assume an older person has done. If the lifestyle of an older person is no different than someone younger than him/her, then age should just be a number.

Love is what matters most isn't it? A person round about your age could be a cheater whereas an older person would be more loving. As most people grow older they mellow & don't wanna repeat past mistakes. They tend to be more settled and faithful than the younger friskier ones. Not all though.

I've had girlfriends/wives who were alternately my age (most of them), one seven years younger, one who was older by five years than me and two that were 15 years younger. I never really paid attention to it - it just seemed right at the moment. But seeing as how the one I'm with now is one of those who is 15 years younger, if I said "yes" she'd bean me with a frying pan!!!

A lot of people have many different views on this subject, I honestly think that if you believe your serious about your relationship and feel as if there's love there that an age difference should not matter at all.

It's not just a number, but age doesn't matter at all. If you try to find someone born on the same day when you were born, definitely your marriage will end in a divorce.
