I was wondering what size shoe do most 2 yr olds wear? I took my daughter in for new shoes the other day and the gal told me she wears a 7 1/2. Is that big? Seems to me it is. She is 2'10" and weighs about 28 lbs. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I wouldn't want her getting teased for having big feet. Anyone?

I am sorry I do not know what size shoes most 2 yr old wear, However have you considered going to a different shoe store to get a second opinion. Maybe stride shoes, one that is exclusively children's shoes. I just bought shoes for my one year old and asked for the store manager when I walked in because I wanted to make sure I got the right size and the right kind of shoe for her. She wears a size 4. You can tell to feel for the big toe, you should have a thumb space between the end of your big toe and the end of the shoe. So your daughters thumb width between the end of her toe and the end of the shoe. If you have the wrong size or the wrong kind it can lead to foot problems down the road having the right shoe is so important. Good luck to you.

My son is 2 1/2, 28 lbs, and wears a 7/8. He's on the petite side, but yes, that is slightly large! His feet grew an entire size in about a month, poor thing was tripping over his own feet!

I have a two year old who also wears a size 7, but I'm also a professional costumer. The average size of people's feet in increasing steadilly every decade. While most friends of mine my age are around a size 8, my mom's generation are usually a 7. The average for high school girls that we costume (a few thousand per year) is between a 9 and a 10. So even if her feet end up larger than yours, or people you knew growing up, she will probably fit right in with the kids her age. It's quite common for me to costume boys with size 13-15 also.

My daughter is 37" tall, weighs 24 lbs. she's in a size six. When you get them sized like at Stride Rite or something, they measure HUGE! They told me what size to put her in and she walked right out of it, I could put my finger in the gap behind her heel. Put her foot up to the bottom of the shoe to make sure her toes have plenty of room. A size 7 or so is normal for her age I'm sure, so I wouldnt worry, they grow at different rates anyway. If she takes after you, chances are she will wear the same size as you too.

im guessing its pretty normal, my son is 2 years and 5 months ols and about 3 months ago he was in a size 5 shoe from walmart, and Its still fit him , however when we went to Stride Rite they sized him at between 7 and 7 1/2 so I bought him an 8< I thought what in the world, i suppose the shoe's are sized differently as well, some run small and some run bigger, . :)

Hi my daughter got a pair of shoes for her 2nd birthday they are a size 8, she is almost 3 now & wearing a size 9 or 10, depending on shoe style. my daughter is taller than her peers.

I am 5ft6in and have size 9 1/2 feet :) I have to really look for shoes that are not goofy looking my feet are flatter on top, narrow ankles wide toe area. I was taller than peers until age 14, now I am short. Hubbyy is over 6ft.

each and every toddler is distinctive. To make this questionnaire extra defined might make some mums very worried that their toddler became no longer reaching section or all of this. There are a large selection of developmental matters which, as quickly as we are reviewing toddler progression we are anticipating a version in solutions. some babies would be somewhat forward and be able to fulfill those forms of standards others will meet maximum yet no longer all. somewhat delay in a single section isn't a topic however the customary image is important. you're possibly being asked to end this using fact the centers are overstretched and don't have adequate time to observe each and every toddler whilst it is possibly basically some will reason difficulty,
