The guy I just went on a date with 2 nights ago hasnt called or texted yet...but on AIM, he would say Later....or Catch you later. Does that mean he's interested in still keeping in contact with me? If a guy is really interested in a girl as more than friends, he'd respond to AIM msgs asap and/or call right?

He used to always just say "Bye" on aim...now he's been saying Later or Catch you later...as in the contact between us will not be over. Gosh, I wil give him till this weekend for a 2nd date.

"Bye" doesn't mean the end of contact. As far as I know, "bye" is the same as "later" or "catch you later."
But yes, if he were interested I think he would call, at least I know I would. On the other hand, he might not be able to respond to aim because he might be busy at that time.

he may be playing hard to get. how often does he talk to you on aim? I would recommend limiting aim conversations at the beginning of a relationship. Make him call you to ask you out, aim is a lot more buddy buddy and he may never get around to asking you out on it. Or you could always give him a call. But 2 days, he will call you back methinks.

WEll, usually on AIM when your done IMing, people will say catch ya later as in c ya! or IM you soon, bye! I really don;t know. Guys just say things like that.

Yes, he should call but alot of guys today think that IM is fine or texting but don't you think that's kinda impersonal for such a personal thing as dating? So here is a thought...if he wants to go out with you tell him he needs to call you. And if does then it looks like he is interested and if he doesn't then you will know where he stands ...Good Luck!

Some do, some don't. My thought would be maybe call him up and just be casual. Say something like, "hey the other night was fun." Maybe ask him if he wants to hang out after that. He may also have decided he likes you as a person but that's it and he doesn't know how to tell you.

I say later to everybody. But I will go out of my way to talk to the girl I like by phone, aim, anything just to talk to her.

It is most likely either him trying to be 'trendy' by saying Later, or Cya Later or he's pursuing some other subject (girl) that he wants to talk to. It's sad but it's most likely true. Or maybe he is busy. When I say 'Later' or 'Catch you later' to somebody....Oh wait.. I don't lol. He might be trying to nicely avoid you. Good luck.

He still has till next weekend to arraigned another meeting with you. After that, consider him a player and deal accordingly
