i just bought vista windows and i have to say it has many problems. how do i reinstall xp without buying xp? is there ANY WAY? ty

Wouldn't it be nice if Vista came bundled with a license of XP for backward compatibility (kinda like how Apple did OS9 and OSX for a little while).

Your best bet is to buy an OEM version or Educational version of XP. I wouldn't go the hacked route. You might be able to trade someone an XP install for your Vista.

if you had xp before vista and saved the xp then u can uninstall vista.Otherwise you forced to get a xp cd

Not unless you have the disk. otherwise you're stuck with vista until you buy xp.

::gasp:: Uhm..did you wipe out your ENTIRE harddrive?!?!
First off, did your system come pre installed with XP? If so, you may have wiped out the install partition of Win XP. I have a solution...but do not wish to post it publicly. Feel free to email me if interested. Good Luck!

Can you not run system restore or use your recovery disk that originally came came with your PC. Other than that ty then Microsoft technical support site.
