Just old enough to hold an intelligent conversation. When you work behind a bar you are the star of the show. Doesn't matter how old or young you are. You do have to be 18 of course though.

21, but you can build up some base before, working in restaurants, taking courses, etc. Studying mixology and the history of spirits is always good for a career in bartending.

21 but take courses such as mixology, look through drink recepie books, and get to know your way around the bar, it is a lot of work.

Actually you don't have to be 21, you have to be 18 to serve alcohol. 21 to drink it 18 to serve.
