Each dog food manufacturer lists how much to feed per doggy weight and or age... If it is puppies then they are growing and you have to use your own judgement as to snacks or not

Good Luck

It depends on how big the dog is.Usually a bowl full a day of dry food with some can food mixed in & a biscuit in the morning & at night.Do have your dog checked for worms by taking a "sample" to the vet in a jar. There are different types & some cannot be seen without a vet's microscope. They will dispense the right meds according to dogs weight & age.

It all depends on the size of you dog and the food you feed your dog. Large breed dogs should not eat small bite food they swallow it whole and the food will have no nutritional value for them. Also if the food bite is too big your dog will not eat the food. I work at a animal hospital and we take some wet dog food and add a little water and mix it into the dry food that way the food is chewed properly and has an appeal to the dogs. Also it is vital to always keep water down for your dog at all times.

look at the bag of food you buy, there should be recommendations based on weight. or consult your vet. my dog would eat forever if i let him, but he's already overweight and is on a strict diet now.

he's approx. 75 lbs, and is fed 4 cups of dry food per day, with one treat only.

i used to have a little 12 lb. dog that only ate 1 full cup of food a day.

just so you have an idea.

Always leave a bowl of dry dog food (depending on weight of your dog--1 to 4 cups) next to his water bowl. Always keep
them filled, filling the dog food bowl as soon as he empties
it. Never leave a dog without access to at least dry dog food and water. If your dog is on a diet, fill the bowl twice a day
(morning and evening) with half of the food alloted for his proper weight, and of course fresh water.

Dog is never full and always hungry. Beta watch their diet, too fat, too much food can cost their lives. I only give my dog 1 meal per day... n some biscuits during snack time.

Look at the label on your dog's food. There will be feeding instructions you can follow. Also if you check with your vet, he or she can give you an idea of how much food you should be feeding your dog every day.

If he is sitting in front of you and staring at you while you eat your dinner. they think they are hungry 24/7 anyway so i wouldnt give in to those eyes too much! or he will end up fat.
