congratulations ! the text of walking on water was in hebrew walking near water and mistranscribed along the way as I've been told but the other impossible fantasies that hordes of gulible niave people believe are probably just window dressing for the strength of convincing converts ....you are so correct they should not forfeit their intelligence o these utterly dubious or entirely false claims .history can't substantiate one of them but some lying account by a couple of fish mongers in collusion gets credit for valid. oh come now which is worse ignorant pagans in their superstious drinking or the ignorant pagans calling themselves Christians for a successful peerdom converted to the word of st paul the cruxifier and his corraborating fish mongers.Ever been lied to?

Why do you find it so hard to believe something like that? Just because it is not entirely rational does not mean that it did not or could not have happened, it just means that understanding that it might have happened is beyond the use of reason. Thomas Aquinas, a great philosopher as well as theologian, noted that reason only goes so far, and then faith takes over. Understanding stuff like Jesus turning water into wine is not a matter for reason because reason cannot comprehend turning water into wine. This is a matter for faith, which is a simple yes you believe it or no you do not believe it happened. Just because you have personally chosen not to believe it happened, that does not mean that you are smarter than someone who has chosen to believe that it is possible for stuff like that to happen. All it means is that you do not have the faith that is necessary in order to comprehend these things. And, judging by the tone of your question, it seems that you really don't care about having that faith, so what the hell does it matter that I am responding to your question in this way, it's not like you are actually going to choose my answer as the best one because it obviously goes against the particular view that you have of faith and Christianity, so why the hell would I even bother with you? You won't choose my answer because you don't like it, which I would then ask you why are you stuck on "stupid?" Do you not see a logical response to your question when you see one? Maybe you do, or maybe you don't. What the hell does it matter anyway, it's not like you are even going to bother reading my response anyways. I stop now. Goodbye.

Have you ever tried to walk on water or turn water to wine? If you haven't please give it a try. If you have tried and failed; give it another shot and get back to me.

Make sure you are barefoot for both efforts. I will not be responsible for any expensive shoes due to water damage or spilt wine. For the walk you may go from shore instead of a boat; in case you cannot swim.

You need to build your faith first; so save the other two for later. Walking on water is the easiest, so start with that first.

Typically when God speaks something important through a prophet he authenticates the message with signs and wonders. This is to show that the word spoken is true, trustworthy and not from the devil or another source. Christ being able to manifest these signs and wonders is proof for those who already possess faith that the message He brings is important and from God Himself.

Whether or not you believe in what has been reported in the scriptures is a different story.

Stupidity isn't exclusive to one religion. In fact, religion has nothing to do with intelligence. You're living proof of that. You're not a Christian but you're oh so concerned with what others believe. Why? Does it affect your little life? Does it keep you up at night? Are you dying because someone believes in the bible? It would seem so since you took time out of your busy night of worrying about others to post this tripe. So, who is the real idiot? The people who go on about their life and don't let what others believe bother them or someone like you who is so insecure that you need to insult people over their beliefs? I'm not a bettin' woman but, I'd bet you're the idiot in that scenario and pretty much every other one that pops up. Get a life.

If I recall, before 1903, critics stated, "If man were meant to fly, he would have been born with wings." But yet two brothers from Ohio proved that we could indeed fly. No one believed it possible, but yet it happened.

There were witnesses to all the miracles of Christ. And many of those men and women went to their deaths attesting to the truth of what they saw. No one would go to their execution bearing witness to a lie.

So, you deny Christ, and you deny His miracles. Perhaps you need to look more into Him, rather then condemn Him for no reason.

Did you ever think the reason you are unhappy is because you lack faith? When you come in trying to insult people by calling them stupid means you are trying to bring them to your level. You feel like crap about your life and you want everyone to join you. Find peace in God and believe.

Romans 1:22 - Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
