Each site seems to have different approaches and a lot of different but complementary information.

Good luck. My mom suffered from these and they rendered her bed ridden for days. Do you know how hard it is to keep four younger brothers quiet forthat long? LOL Oddly they stopped after her monthly flow came to an end.

But, I can tell you from personal experience - I have been suffering from migraines for about 15 years now - that the natural remedies have done absolutely no good for me - and I've tried everything from herbs, massages, acupuncture, and even hypnosis. The one and only thing that has lightened the pain of my migraines is Imitrex.

How about trying this:-

100mg. niacin 3 times daily
100mg B.complex multivitamin twice daily.
Calcium and magnesium (twice as much calcium as magnesium is the proper ratio), which are nature's tranquilizers.

or

White willow bark or feverfew capsules 3 times daily

or Ginkgo biloba, 60mg A.M. and p.m. may help prevent migraines.

Relieving Migraine using Cabbage Leaf Compress
