My wife thinks I should only need 4-5 hours of sleep a night, but I always feel tired everyday. What should I say or do?

When you are young you need more sleep then when you get older. If you are getting 6-8 hours a night then you are getting enough sleep. But for me you can never get to many hours of rest, but the minimum you need is 6-8 hours a day. It also could be the foods you are eating or some kind of stress that is making you feel run down.

You need 6-8 hours of sleep a night. You should go to your doctor and explain the situation to him/her and have them write a prescription for you for the number of hours you need to sleep at night. Then give the prescription to your wife. If she loves you and wants you to stay healthy, then she will at least respect a doc's advice.

A drill sargeant will tell you "Your body only needs 4 hours of sleep a night to survive" unfortunately your brain needs 6-8 hours of sleep.

Six to eight, if you sleep too much you could also feel tired. Tell your wife to let you sleep!
