How old is this puppy? If very young,,they will sleep alot like babies.Maybe he plays hard & gets tuckered out.If he is lethargic most of the time then you should see a vet very quickly..If you pick up the skin on the back of the neck & it doesnt snap back,,that is a sign of illness. That means it is dehydrated. What is your dog eating? When a dog stops eating,,for more than a day,,that is sign of illness. Is your dog vomiting? All pups should have a check up & all pups need to be dewormed according to body weight if not infant.Best done by a vet at the right age.

When do you work? If you work during the day she might be used to staying lazy during the day and excited when you get home. Her body might be used to the schedule. But still to make sure I would take her to the vet and if you don't have the money till payday most vets care for the pets rather than the money aspect. So if you tell them your situation they might set up a payment plan. Hope he gets better!

Yes, there is something wrong if a puppy is not playful most of the time. They also need lots of sleep, but if she spends most of the time not doing anything, she needs to see the veterinarian, sooner rather than later. Puppies can get too sick to survive pretty fast.

You didn't say how old your puppy was, what type of breed,
or what you have been feeding her. She might be very young
which means she needs her sleep. Dry nose?? means she is sick. Has she had her puppy shots?? Hound dog or blue tick are very lethargic dogs, they nap before they sleep.
If she is under 6 to 9 weeks old, you should be feeding her like a newborn pup. Not sure, take her to a good vet.

What, if any, diagnostics were finished? i do not imagine that going to a clean vet is the answer. i'd bypass back to the unique vet because they're maximum acquainted with the case. that's unfair to assume that this vomiting episode is a continuation of the finest one and that that's the vet's fault. particularly if the vomiting had stopped for 10 days. in case you presented this situation to me, i'd repeat a fecal, carry out a touch bloodwork, and take radiographs to study for obstructions. The fuzz in the vomit makes me imagine that a overseas body may nicely be the fault. Hypoglycemia, that's undemanding in those little adult men, may also reason vomiting.

If you're that concerned call your vet, but if she's playful at all, and eating and drinking, odds are good she's not that sick. You didn't offer a lot of info such as breed, age, atmosphere of home, playmates, etc. If you can give a better description of "lazy" that'd be helpful.

More info, please. Her age, her breed ..for openers. Any symptoms at all other than the above? Does she eat well? Is she fat enough? Does she have mucus in her eyes? How are her bowel movements? Is her tongue nice and pink? I don't suppose you have taken her temp? Has she been wormed? She may just be lazy. But that's unusual in a puppy.

Puppies can sleep up to 22 hrs a day... especially if not stimulated or if they no longer have littermates to play with.. It is up to you to help your puppy along into becoming an adult.. so play play play
