do evolution and god work together, like god made evolution so he wouldn't have to do things constantly and he could take a break a lot?

Maybe. Now find a way to test that.

Adding God is a loophole for Christians to allow themselves to believe in evolution AND creationism at the same time.

The flaw in this though is that evolution does not pretend to tell us how we were created, it just serves to give us a history of how living things have progressed. NO where does it claim to prove how the universe started (that is what the big bang theory does)

Either way, creationism is the philosophy that God created EVERYTHING. Therefore creationism CANNOT coincide with evolution. Evolution states that humans evolved from other primates. This is central to what creationsists deny. However, there is WAY too much evidence to say it didn't.

So in short, NO.

I suggest you do some research about the different views on creationism. There are many more theories than simply seven literal days and naturalistic evolution. To name a few there is theistic evolution, the gap theory, devil then God, deistic creation, day-age and old earth creationism.

For the Muslim there is no need for separation between religion and science. It is understood from the Quran, revealed over 1,400 years ago, that there is both; "Creation" and "Evolution." And in both instances, it is only Allah who is "Able to do all things." In fact, it was the Muslim scientists, more than 1,000 years ago, who set the stage for the adancement of learning, technology and disciplines in science that we know today.

Allah has explained how He created everythng in the universe and brought all life out of water. He created humans from earth (not monkeys) and there is no need to attempt fabrications of "links" to the animal world in Islam.

A really good friend of mine, who is christian, but also pragmatist and down to earth once said:

Who are we to not say that evolution is simply the paintbrush that god used to paint his creation?

Tho I'm agnotist, I agree w her views. There is so much fossil evidence for evolution and none for the literal creationism, why christians not adopt this view?

Wasn't Galileo Galilei improsoned for the rest of his life by the catholic church simply because he mentioned that earth is round and not the center of the universe? and actually, earth goes around the sun, not the other way around? and now, over 200 years ago, the church seems foolish because of their close-mindedness? They are just setting themselves up for another...."I TOLD YOU" by science

I had a *christian* biology teacher in highschool that had an interesting theory...
If God created the world in 6 days *rested on the 7th*, and the bible says that one day with God is as 2000 years, then who's to say that we didn't evolve some? I mean, that's a LONG time...and if He *God* wasn't pleased with something, He could have changed it within that "day".

I don't think the universe has been around nearly long enough for evolution to have taken place unless it was driven by God.

I think God created all thru evolution. He didn't take a break until all was done. Time is different for God than for us. To Him it was a week. To us it was eons.

God didn't make a damn thing. Man made God and a fairy tale. Evolution is real requiring no God.

you'd think that creationist would want to embrace this... it's up
to them whether science is their friend or enemy, not scientists...

Tribble doesn't realize that all science does is form conclusions based on evidence. Theories ore formed when there is enough valid evidence to support a conclusion...

Nothing is too much for him. He simply made it so that his creations could survive on their own without his interference.
