i do hobbies at home. that's all i do for fun . and recently with knee injuries i just stay home, don't go out much. can't walk much so why push it. But at the same time i think about a gf . never had one.

even when i have gone outside.. i have no clue what to do. i mean, i don't even think of anything. i usually don't go with people.. i just go around town alone and i don't try to otalk to random girls. is that what men have to do to meet girls.. cause if it is.. i'm not going to do it.

i talk to foreign girls in voice chat often and i'm fine witht hat. but that's cause i feel they don't criticize my shy ways that much as american girls do. but that kind of contact isn't getting me anywhere.

What can i do if i'm shy and quiet.. and i will not change? i mean, i meet girls in chats and voice chats. i have a good time. but i can't meet american girls in real life. I feel they are really mean towards quiet people so there's no chance

You don't need to change. Life will do that all by itself. The best way to meet someone is through someone you know. A neighbor or co-worker must know someone who wouldn't care that you're shy just ask.

Well you said you do your hobbies at home. Try and find a group that also does the same hobbies. Having something to talk about that you love and feel very comfortable or knowlegable with already is a great place to start. There are tons of shy girls too ya now and they may also be sitting home doing their hobbies wondering the same thing you are! LOL I'm a moderator of a HUGE Yahoo group (4000 members) who all does the same hobby, Those of us that live in the same state meet for lunches and it's a lot of fun meeting those with the same interest. It really take the pressure off when meeting new people because you know a subject that will always be of interest. We go to a large conference once a year to meet others in the group and have a great time. Start where you are and don't try to do something that's completely foreign to you. It will make you nervous and attract the wrong girls - ones who expect you to be like other guys and not yourself. Go to Yahoo groups and see what you can find. You may be surprised!
Take care!

I don't think your hopeless, you just need to find a girl who is also quiet and shy. Try an internet service like eharmony or something that is very specific. Ask your friends if they know anyone single or maybe you could start having coffee at a cafe and get to know the people. Try joining a group that does your hobbies or get a dog so you'll have to go outside.

You are not shy you are afraid. American girls are just like any other girls. Join a club or group with people with the same interest as you. If you find someone who likes what you like then it will be easy for you to talk to them. You are not to old for a change. If you are tired of being alone then a change will no doubt have to come.

Well, i was about to tell u theres someone out there whos like u and who would tolerate your ways, but if u dont go out and u dont talk to girls in the first place,i dont know how ur gonna meet anyone.....this is a tough one.I dont think a girl is gonna come knocking on ur door...so i suggest u AT LEAST go out or something...create a possibility to meet someone.BTW,not all girl dislike guys like u..i could say my boyfriend is something like u,we rarely go out and we both prefer to stay home and chill together...so i guess youll find someone.....

I am shy and quiet myself, you can meet girls (yes american girls) who will appreciate you for who you are and what you offer them. Just be patient when you do go out and start to take chances when you see random girls or a girl that you are intrested in.

Yeah, girls your age are probably pretty mean to guys like you, been there myself before.

You are still just a puppy and have plenty of time to meet someone. I would suggest dating women just slightly older than you are, they are more mature and want a guy like you to settle down with. Hang in there-she is just around the corner, don't worry!!!

it's never to late buddy. you say you "will not change"? but think about it. your way hasn't been working for you so something needs to change. i'm not saying get out there and talk to whoever. i'm telling you, you need to relax and not let what people think about you bother you so much. be active, your knee kills, so find something that is suitable for you. something that will require you to communicate with people in person.

hmmm???? you're 27 and never had a girlfriend. you're tooo shy, and you only talk to girls online because they can't see you. you're probably one of those guys that everytime you talk to a girl face to face you're thinking "what is she thinking of, is does she think my hair is messy, does she think i'm ugly, is there something wrong with me?" right? is that why you don't talk to girls? you gone through highschool and college with no friends. if you don't get out there and say "fcuk you old me, i don't give a s.h.i.t about my shy stupid a.s.s" then you're screwed.
