They spoke the truth but were lacking one very important ingredient, "LOVE!"
"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." --- 1 Corinthians 13:1.
I'd say this fellow sounded very much like a lot of n-o-i-s-e!
This person may have had a message to share and good Biblical advice even, but their delivery stunk!
God will convict them eventually and hopefully they will be humble enough to repent and work on a new approach.
As far as Catholics going to hell... Ummmm... Gotta disagree with that all out judgment. Although there are many unbiblical practices within the Catholic church, geared more toward serving their Catholic ideals rather than what Jesus actually taught... There are still many believers in Jesus Christ within the Catholic denomination. It is just unfortunate that so much has been added to Scripture through the Catholic church that somehow the sweet message of Jesus Christ tends to get a little lost sometimes.

I disagree with calling the Catholic Church a cult. There are many teachings the church has that I don't agree with but at the same time I don't think Catholic bashing is very Christian. Many Catholics are indeed Christians and should be better treated by their fellow Christians.

This is in no way the Good News that Christ preached. The Catholics may be wrong but so are all the faiths that branched off of that faith. they are all wrong together, and are all cults.

They clearly need to lay off the exclamation points and capitalization. Hyperbole is of little use to anyone.
But they are, at least, correct in the assertion that Catholics aren't ending up in Heaven. So they're not totally whack.

I think that by giving this sort of advice gives out the wrong impression. Jesus did not preach the good word that way. He sat down, and talked to people as friends poitning their flaws in way most likely kinder than what you pasted. He gave answers in parables and other forms. He didn't need to yell at the adulterous women to not longer sine because her actions were wrong. He gave her a second chance and spoke to her in a way that she would understand. I totaly belive it depends upon a eprson to person basis on how you spread the Word of the Lord. Some people benifit from that form. However, to most people that is stuffing information downtheir throat and is very rude. I am not saying we need to tickle the ears of all people, aming everyone feel good. No. Jesus's words offended, even though they were put in a thoughtful manner. so my thoughts are that they should be more respectful to teh audience that looks at his/her answers and to try not to give a sore impression on the others who are not Christian. Sad to say, this sort of anwer as well all others sometimes give the wrong impression.
GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!! LET FREEDOM RING!!!!

Its not about any religion. Its about a relationship with Jesus Christ.
If you walk into any church in America or the world for that matter there are people going to hell and there are people going to heaven. You just cant tell who they are by looking.

Read what the Bible says about Baptism/Christening. Go to the source, read what Gods word says and go from there. That's where you'll find the right answer.

I would say that they are probably trying to make a point and that they don't like Catholic religious practices. A little harsh though and definately disrespectful of anothers beliefs. Let's hope the person who asked the question was not hurt by it.

they are correct that the catholics are wrong...but so is the church they recommend...and by their own words...so are they, i should say the choice of words...it is true that the only way to salvation (i.e. heaven) is through Jesus Christ and no act of our own beyond accepting that gift can save our souls. but to turn and bash someone because they are wrong simply puts you on the same level as the one you bash.
