im in uk for starters. anyway if im poor I can only buy the cheapest but i shouldnt have to settle for poor quality just because im poor

Meat is graded by the USDA, it's your responsibility to educate yourself on the quality of meat you're getting.
And there already are laws against this, but this is meant for meats that are sold beyond date and could be contaminated.
Just because you aren't being sold prime is not their problem.

Yes!! unfortunately most of the supermarkets would be found guilty when they appeared in court. NEVER HAPPEN

I do agree with you, but so long as folks buy rubbish, most shops will sell it.
