Your daughter is at a correct height relative to her age. Don't worry.....girls grow height at this age only. My sister also grew about 5 inches at her age of 15. Please supply her the necessary diet and nutrition required as suggested by the doctor. She can grow height up to 18 or 19 years. So there is nothing to worry and obviously she could grow more height than you both (you and your husband). One more thing is she should be given healthy food, without fat content, rich in fibre, a wholesome food. Hope your daughter will grow high soon.

I was the shortest one in school. Over the summer of my Junior year in high school I grew 5 inches. When I was young I had every medical test known done to me. All the doctors found was I had a vey slow growth rate. Well I still look 20 years younger than my age. I am 46 now, and people that dont know me think I am around 25-27.

Your option is to get HGH human growth hormone therapy. But is it really a problem that you want to play with nature?

Hope that helps,

My cousin-sister is 5.7 in height, but her mother is just 5 ft and her father is 5.5 in height. She is exactly like her grandmother well-built and tall. Basically the stronger genes from one of the grandparents wins. You daughter is 14 years, this is the age when children grow at a very fast rate to acheive the height they are going to be for the rest of their life. If she doesn't show any sign of increase in height you will have to enrol her into some very active sport. If her height doesn't increase it surely going to affect her career and marriage life ahead. All the best and don't worry, everything will be fine.

Most girls stop growing around 16 years of age. Given the height of you and your husband, she won't be tall, but she may squeeze out another inch or two.

Also take into consideration the height of YOUR parents and your husband's parents too.

5 ft at 14 is an adequate height... she will grow until 20-25 year of age... she may definitely gain 5ft 2in... there are chances of her growing more than that...
