Why do people do this?

Why is it that every magic based question is always directed at Pagans? Do people not realize all Pagans are not practitioners of that?

I'll admit, I am, but more as an intellectual exercise.

Satanists, some Christians, some Agnostics, and various others.

I too have a rubix cube.

Yes, I'm not really all that into magic; it just is not a big part of my faith. My faith is centered on worshiping and honoring the Æsir and Vanir, ancestors, and land-wights. Magic rituals really don't apply.

I think the reason is because most people think Wiccan equals Pagan and don't realize not all of us Pagans are Wiccan. Wiccans do tend to focus a lot on magic. (Nothing wrong with that at all.)

And yes, magic IS indeed practiced in other religions.

I practice creating reality using magic(k).
It's more of a practical exercise of 'moving
the symbol'.

People tend to stereotype. Though I firmly have believed that prayer is magic under another name.
