What are characteristics that women find attractive in the men they meet?

What a coincidence. I just met a guy that I found very attractive. Some of the characteristics that I noticed he had right from the start were, confidence, but not ********* or conceit. He had a great sense of humor and he made great eye contact. He complimented me for what wasn't them most obvious about me, like the fact that I was a writer, instead of saying I have a nice build or nice legs or even a nice smile. He did eventually say those things to me but I liked the fact that it didn't seem to be his immediate focus, (even if it may have been). I was with friends when I met him and he paid attention to them as well, only he paid more attention to me. He offered me his phone number, leaving it up to me to give mine, instead of asking me to give it. He let me know that he was single and asked if I was. He's tall, dark and handsome, just the way I like men and he has great manners. He's smart, well spoken, neat, generous and drug free! He wasn't shy about letting me know that he's looking for a woman to have a monogamous long term relationship, so he's not a 'playa'. There. Those are just some of the characteristics that I like in a man. ;)

I'm not sure why you are asking this, as your profile suggests you are a girl.. but anywho... different women find different things attractive in men. Some women like macho acting men, some like them sensitive. These are the two main types. Some women want a man who is strong and will kick someones *** for them. Some women want a feminine, sensitive guy who has deep feelings and is a good listener.

A guy who is a true gentleman is always a good thing but not to the point where he is impersonal. Little things like opening the door for the girl, giving her ur jacket when she is cold, pulling her chair out for her at the table etc etc its all about showing the girl that you think she is special and should be treated as if she is.

personal hygene is a big thing too, for goodness sake make sure u smell nice, clip ur finger/toe nails, keep chewing gum or mints handy to keep breath fresh, make sure ur ears are clean etc etc girls really notice those things

confidence but not cockyness is attractive as is honesty. don't make up stories to impress her she'll find you more interesting if you are telling the truth.

Height, humor, bright eyes, clean, good posture, dark hair, doesn't smoke pot, has a goal for his life, confidence, ability to be an ***, make fun of himself, touchy feely, makes you feel light headed, good firm handshake says a lot, and the ability to look you in the eyes.

Physically, I like guys with shaved heads, thats just me. But personality I like a guy who is confident, caring, sincere, and reliable. I think it is important for a women to be with a guy that can protect her. My boyfriend has been in fights before and he's also been beat up before (so he knows what it feels like to lose). He sticks up for me when it is necessary. I feel safe when I am around him.

well for personality i look for good sense of humor, sweetness, likes to go out and have fun, has a job not for his money just to know hes not a bum!!! and looks i freakin love tattoos and piercings mmmmmmmmm so yummy especially tattoos and height how they dress and hands thats about it overall the biggest thing i look for is sense of humor and no shy guys that dont have any confidence!!!!!!!!:):):):)
