Why, because of Vincent Price and Roger Corman,
of course. Though Lugosi claimed to be greater than
Poe, because he actually built those torture machines.
The Pit and the pendulum I love as castles are very Taurean.
And Lugosi is "Lugosi". Literature, where would we be
without writers and wordmasters?

They are both bloody awesome! Well, actually, I kinda dislike Poe, because everyone else likes him...

for some reason, when I write my own fiction, I tend to write like the both of them.... more Lovecraftian though...
