Good: stereotypically, the average quiet girl is more polite and kind and thoughtful, and truth be told in a relationship they're much more willing to let their partner have their way (either a good thing or a bad thing here, actually.)
Bad things: Because they're so quiet, their personalities don't show much at all, and so guys can't get to know them and like them. Also it's hard in a relationship because a quiet girl won't let her wishes be known, making it hard on the guy when the girl seems more reclusive then usual because he's doing something the girl doesn't like (and she won't tell him what it is he's doing wrong!)

Well I like to talk to my girlfriends and I think they know that. So if they are not in a talkative mood they don't call me or avoid me. But if they wanna have fun and laughs, we go out. A quiet girl seems like she may not like going out and having fun. Girls have to speak their minds and say what they mean because guys can only guess what you like or don't like for so long. Talking is often a good way to start relationships. And if your just quiet a;ll the time, well thats boring. You don't have to be loud and boisterous, just show sence of humor. Quiet girls are often fairly intelligent, use your knowledge to tell jokes or make quips. You will be the most popular girl in the world if you do that. You need to open up a little. And here is the kicker, it FUN!

Well I'm going to be honest with you. When I was younger I was extremely quiet. People always told me that guys liked me and thought I was cute, but I never acted on that because I was shy and quiet. So eventually nothing ever really happened. Sometimes when a girl is shy/quiet, she appears to lack self-confidence. I sure did. Once I came into college, I gained self-confidence. This doesn't mean I was loud and obnoxious, but I had enough confidence to approach a guy and to be myself. Now, I'm engaged to the love of my life.
So, I think being nice, and quiet is a plus, just as long as you have enough self-confidence and self-love.

im not a guy, but i think quiet girls... well, they're too quiet. not that i hate them or anything. its just that whn quiet girls r too quiet, it seems... freaky. if ur quiet, u shld @ least try to be the nice-one in the class. that's an easy thing for a quiet girl to do, and guys like nice girls tat r worth it, not girls w/ mini-skirts...............most of the times

I like girls who are quiet, but have no trouble engaging in a conversation.

i like that they're not so annoying, but i don't like it if they're so quiet that they won't keep up an interesting conversation. and in the bedroom, quiet girls make you wonder if you're doing it right, whereas with a loud girl if she's screaming, you're doing fine.

Absolutely, I love quiet girls. I mean, not to an extreme, but shyness is definitely very cute.
Sweet and shy= killer combination.

Good:
They're less likely to up and leave you or sleep around.
They aren't as annoying.
They don't attract attention from other guys.
Bad:
They might be quiet because they are odd.

If by quiet you mean not loud and obnoxious, not someone who is a loner or lacks social skills.
