Hard to pick a single one.

For dark - Sleeman Fine Porter and McAuslan St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout. Smooth and Chocolaty!

A great ale - Wellington County Ale. Full bodied, great hops.

Fantastic Lager - Creemore Springs Premium Lager - great body, but still light enough to satisfy thirst.

Pilsner - one of the best is Steam Whistle.

These are all made by smaller breweries (with the possible exception of Sleeman, which has grown substantially over the years). They generally make more interesting beer than the big breweries (e.g. Molson, Labatt).

Cheers!

I love Mick's Red, I went to college in Maine and we would drive up to Quebec just to get some (and this wasn't just when we were 19, we did this when we were 21 also because me and my roommates liked that beer so much).

Budweiser. All Canadian beers taste of moose urine.
