How long is "long term" considered? Cause I saw that many people said there were long term effects of using laxatives. My sisters been using them for about two weeks (2 pills a day) cuase her digestive system hasn't been working well. So, I want to know how long it's safe to use before it gets to have not reversable affects? Thanks!

Don't rely on those laxatives. All you got to do is simply drink more water... 12 to 15 glasses of water a day. Then, NO to carbonated drinks, spicy, salty, fatty and nutty food. Also, do not eat chocolates, sweets and food with preservatives. EAT MORE VEGETABLES AND FRUITS. This is priceless.

Besides, you will also lose weight because I already lose wieight from 75 kilos to 62 kilos in 3 months. At present, I simply maintain my weight up to 65 kilos only.
Hope this will help you. Have a nice day and take care :)

Not considered a long term solution. Regular fiber through healthy diet and plenty of water is desirable with regular exercise. Don't start to rely on laxatives. Damaging in the long run.

Long term is usually considered when you have been on a medication for a year oor longer.
