A spiritually aware person is aware that they themselves are not yet fully enlightened, and would not attempt to enlighten another being.

If you have a close friend who is a drunkard or thief, you might sooner or later want to taste a drop of alcool and dream of having a life where you don't have to work but robbing others. You might not do them, but you might have a secret temptation. And if from within you want to do it, then it will happen.
A rich and intelligent person shares a delicious food and juicy drink with a beggar who has not eaten anything healthy for days. The eyes of the beggar will shine with admiration for him and will feel great inside. If he is really intelligent, the rich person won't give that beggar food and drink everyday, rather he would advice the latter how to earn his own life and become independent and strong. But if in the beggar's heart there is no willing then nothing will happen.
And the same for a spiritually aware person to another being. If that unawaken person deeply wants to be enlightened then he will be. Even if not, he will feel a great energy, calm, peace of mind in the presence of the spiritually awakened person. But that's all.

If someone surrenders, asks questions and renders service to the spirituall enlightened person then the the spirituall enlightened person can enlighten the surrendered person.
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth. Bhagavad gita 4.34.

a spiritually aware personshould allow the spirit they are aware of to enlighten that person!

1.Spiritual aware person just becomes catalyst for the another person to be enlighten.
2.All efforts are to be done by deciple only, master just indicates and acts as catalyst.

Gods anointing on a person is what inlights that person because God will talk to that person on things that person doesn't know about; only God and that gets there attention.Alot of time he speak to them in comformation to let them know they are on the right track.
