Not exactly. I had sex with my fiance on our first date and we are in the process of planning our wedding. Just do what feels natural to you. If he's just in it for the sex then he's a loser. Since you slept with him ask him what's next.

I met a girl one night at a dance club. We ended up hitting it off right from the start. She took me back to her place and we did it.
A year later we are still together and enjoying ourselves, so go figure.
