If you have the Holy Spirit in you, you can understand a false teacher/prophet.
If one seems to be a false one, do not listen to him nor take in to your home or have communion with him.
If an acquainted person visits you, and you know that he is a false teacher, In my opinion you should never deny him to enter your residence or office.
But never let him talk about his false doctrines, if you seem you are not capable to handle the matter.

These answers are all false teaching.
First Jesus fulfilled all scripture, all that is left is the Word of God. Jesus is the Living Word of God. No other person can claim this. But you not only listen to others, you follow them, you have become their disciples.
Jesus only can give you the True Bread from Heaven, Mose gave you not that Bread from Heaven. The Apostles were to preach the words that Jesus spoke not their own words, like I am doing, now.
Therefore I will give you that true bread from heaven,
Peace be unto you.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you i sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves, ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistle?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth evil fruit.
Thou shall not resist evi
Thou shall turn the other cheek
Thou shall love thine enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.
Thou shall forgive all manner of trespasses, for if you do not for give those who trespass neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Thou Shall not kill
Thou shall not be angry with thy brother, without a cause
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do, but do not ye after their works, for they say, and do not
They say they are Jews, but are not, they do lie and I will make them a synagogue of Satan
Remember the woman who anointed Jesus for his burial.

Deut 18 and Jeremiah 28 explain how to spot a false prophet. Read them, draw up a list of characteristics, then compare that list to Jesus and Muhammad. You will be surprised how easy it is to spot a false prophet if you know what to look for.

If you want to be like Christ then here you go.
Proverbs 6:16 These six things doth the LORD HATE: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that SPEAKETH LIES, and HE that soweth discord among brethren.

No look what Jesus did to the money changers in the temple.
I believe we turn the other check when they are attacking us personally.
But pray imprecatory prayers when they are doing evil to the gospel or God.
David prayed imprecatory prayers in the Psalms around the 50's and 60's of the Psalms
Hope this helps

In the bible there is a verse that says God hates evil. Is a person who claims to represent God, and only desires to line their own pockets, evil? I would think so.
So is it wrong for you to hate what God hates? No. But remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but spiritual; mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. It is evil that drives that person to be false; pray for them.

2 Peter 2:1 - But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
