They cannot be members or pastors if they don't follow the laws mentioned in The Bible. Paul is very clear about laws and justification in his Letter to Romans.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. But shouldn't pastors and church members do what is right and avoid doing what is wrong simply because that is the right thing to do? I wouldn't think that such fine upstanding members of the community would need laws to keep them in line.

Well there are lots of regulations within denominations that do detail punishment or consequences for such behaviors. However, you can never control anyone.

And even Independent churches have their own set of by-laws or means of procedures for handling sinful behaviors from its members or leadership.

The Bible is also a pretty good guide on such issues as well.

I think issues like that are extremely hypocritical BUT I don't think the Church should get involved in it.

i think that adultery is wrong, but not as wrong as child molestation
