So st. patties day is coming up and my g/f wanted to go out and of course drink... Well there were previous plans for her to go out with some of her friends, but I told her that if i get the night off, I am going to go with them... well at first she said ok thats fine, but when I brought it up tonight, i can tell she doesnt want me to go. I asked her why and her reason was, "becuase it will be weird, becuase you will be the only guy there." I told her that thats a gay reason when they go out with a guy, we'll call George, but he works with them... And i said, well i'm your b/f so whats the difference??? I got really irritated that she didnt want me to go with her. Can you ladies please explain to me what she's thinking or why she doesnt want me to go? Also, should I just go anyway and invite myself along??? Any suggestions would be great!

Maybe she wants to spend some time with her girl friends and maybe have a little girl chat after that. You should not take it personally but respect her decision. Why don't you call your guy friends if they have anything happening that day and you can join them instead? Try to have an open-lind. Both of you will benefit form it.

I would not go. I would not even bring it up again. Show her that you are comfortable giving her space...if you are worried about how she may act on St. Patties day then think about this...anything she does then she can do any other day of the year. If you don't give her some freedom when she asks for it she will surely take advantage of other opportunities in the future. Go drinking with the guyd...Good luck

Man your g/f is weird. From the look of it, she sure have something to hide from you. Most probably she doesn't want her friends to know that you are her b/f. Girls day out. You think girls doesn't flirt when they're in group? Man you better watch out. If she's really concern of your feelings, the answer wouldn't be "it's weird" she should explain in details of where she's going, what are they gonna do, etc. etc.
Man you gotta watch out! Because you know she's giving that weird looks + no honesty looks.

invite yourself, you'll probably all end up having a lot of fun... unless she was planning on doing something that you wouldn't approve of like cheating, then yeah the time you spend with her will blow and it will be obvious
