I have been with this totally wonderful guy for 1 yr 1/2. 90% of the time he is just so absolutely amazing. He's the sweetest, funniest, most loveable guy I have ever been with. He treats me way better than with any other guy Ive ever been with. But then there's this 10% of the time where he's really mean and scary sometimes. Then when I beg him to stop because he's carrying on like a crazy person and scareing me; he occasionally grabs a knife and acts like he's going to stab himself screaming "you wanna see crazy". I end up in an anxiety attack; then he starts appologizing and crying himself. He's been through a really tragic childhood that messed himup. I dont want to live without the good side of him; but don't know how far he'll go in one of these mood swings. Ive asked him to go to counseling; and he says it wont work cause it didnt before. It doesn't happen all the time; in the year 1/2 we've been together its only happened maybe once a month or so. I just dont know what to do!!!

Okay here's some advice though you may not like it. Get out now before your in to deep that you cant, He's had a bad life okay don't let that make it your own. If he's like this now and your not married then think about how bad it will be if you do marry him. If you don't want to leave then he needs help and you need to be there by his side to make sure the help is going in a postive way. Don't have children with this man until all is resolved, Dont marry him, and dont move in with him.

He has a mental problem that will probably get worse. Get out now and don't look back. You will regret it for the rest of your life if you stay.

You are better than him. Trust me, there are better guys out there. Don't settle for him. If you have children, do you want them to be scared of what Daddy will do?

I'd leave right away and get far away from him. He is really weird, and he will eventually hurt you physically. This is mental abuse. If you don't believe me, talk to someone at your local battered womens' shelter. RUN!!!!!!!

you should not settle for this kind of behavior, he need to get
counseling to deal with this. and if he does not get it. then
you have to let him go, your safety is more important because
sweetheat that 10percent is too high of a price to pay.
