Does anybody own an 06 VW Passat? How is the car?

I know that volkswagons drive really nice, but also they all break down horribly at high miles. They're also horribly expensive to repair.

we have a 06 passat TDI that means it runs on diesel great car great mileage runs smoothly.
I would expect the same from the gas version as well.
