Look at all this evidence I have of why new Toyotas suck http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArWKrQURWubLYghmK3BaCyLsy6IX?qid=20070301210328AAn8E5d The Dodge Dakota or Nissan Frontier are really much better trucks.

P.S. On WolfWagons comment GM has only had one recall at all in 2007 for about 500 new Acadia/Outlooks. Its a defect in the airbag computer and can be fixed with a quick patch. Ford has lots of major recalls, and the most recalled vehicle in history (focus).

in case you purely have a $500 deductible or much less i might only document an coverage declare. I certainly have an 07 and that i latterly backed right into a bicycle. injury become $986 using fact it hit the tailgate and took off paint, and dented the bumper which might ought to get replaced. i become pissed. besides I certainly have a $500 deductible, I have been given the estimate for $986 so I amassed $486 from my coverage employer. I went returned to the broking and only had them restoration the tailgate at $460. The dent in the bumper is so small you are able to truly see it. My coverage did no longer go up in any respect. a minimum of you will get it fixed spectacular for under your deductible. good success

below is a copy/paste from an article

...Toyota has already passed both Ford
and GM in a different category - automotive recalls.

Although we've barely passed mid-February, Toyota has already recalled
533,417 vehicles this year in a mix that, according to www.AutoRecalls.us,
includes Tundras Sequoias and Camrys. That puts Toyota on track to recall
more than the over 1.76 million autos they recalled in the U.S. and Japan
in 2006, and the 2.2 million they recalled in 2005 when they recalled more
cars than they built.

What's more, the current recall related to the Turdra trucks and Sequioa
SUVs is similar to the same defect in 800,000 of the same vehicles in 2005.

I have a base model 07 and it is very good. Drives like a car, lots of room, overall a nice truck.
