It's possible.
But Jesus wasn't laid in it.

Jesus as well as the other names of people in his family were very common names of that time so just because in 1980!!!! they found some Tomb with a couple names on it of people in Jesus family doesn't mean because James Cameron wanted to make some money on a documentary now it's Jesus of Nazareth, The Son of God's Tomb.

If I find a tomb in the outskirts of my town in which the name Jesus or Mary or Joseph is written, Should I believe it is the tomb of Jesus Christ?
The news about the family of Jesus's tomb is an assumed story of non religious people to bash on beliefs.

They havent ! What has been found is a tomb that bears 3 VERY popular names ( in Biblical Times ) I watched a special about the tomb.....one of the experts said that over 70 such tombs have been found.....this one isnt any more likely to be " The One " than any of the other 70+ !

I think it's still debatable that it's "the" tomb, but, that being said it's really not a big deal.
They only remains that were found in the tomb were those of a female, and in the chamber that was believed to be the one for Christ they found the remains of a shroud as it was described in the bible.
If it turns out that it is "the" tomb then many people's faith will be justified yet again.

Just because they found Jesus' so called tomb doesn't mean anything! We christians know that they do DNA tests to fiind out exactly if it is! Because Jesus was of a rare bloodline! One with no faith wants to search for stuff that they will never discover until death hit's them hard.

That isn't news. It was a cheap publicity stunt that has already run its course. Many authorities have denounced the whole stupid thing calling it anything from "sheer fantasy" to "archeoporn". They had nothing but a few empty boxes of unknown history and a couple of totally unidentifiable DNA samples, most likely from one of the many people who have handled the boxes since they were first exhumed over 20 years ago. Rubbish.

I have actually read the book but I missed the program. It is an interesting theory but at the end they jump to some very big conclusions. Interesting read though I find it hard to believe.

its crap... they could never prove even to a point of reasonable arguement that it was in fact Jesus's toumb.... as well i recently herd that the inscription that was supposedly Mary Magdelin was actually misinterperted and was a toumb containing two women...................... by the way why is it that they are so insistant it is Jesus's? seems to me that they pre decided it must be the toumb of Jesus and then worked at finding facts to support it... isn't research supposed to be done the opposite way?

I'll believe that right after they report they found the tomb of Satan!
Oops...forgot....they'll be in hell before that happens.
Really - don't get me started. It's all a bunch of hogwash.
