I picked up my cats kittens at a day old and did it everyday since then. If the mother does not mind, then go for it. You pick them up gently with both hands and stay close to where the box is.

You can, but be very careful. Make sure that they are secure in your hands and arms. Cradle them. I would only pick them up for a minute and not very often. Momma will probably want you to put them down so don't pick them up very often and only for a minute. Make sure you find those babies only the best homes. Have fun with them. When they are about 6 or 7 weeks old, they will be real cute and ready to play.

It's ok to hold them, just wash your hands first and don't hold them all the time. Young kittens like this won't want to be held at all, expect lots of meowing and suport their bodies fully so they feel safe. talk to them softly and let them know they are loved. The mom will get mad if you make them scream, so try to sit on the floor with them and let them sit on your lap.

I'm expecting kittens from my Bengal queen any day now, so I'm excited about kittens. Give your some kisses from me.

you can pick them up now but only for a few seconds and when there eyes open hold them for a few seconds just to let them get use to u after about 3 and half weeks old to four weeks old they will start to wonder around and ur gonna wanna know what u have to do to stop picking them up lol anyways while there kittens holding them for long time makes there eyes sore need to just holdem for a bit then put them down just handle enough so they get use to it then when there six weeks old u can handle as much as u want

It is fine to pick them up and hold them. They will get used to people and they will be more lovable cats for the touching at a young age.Just hold them close and they will feel safe.I've had mommy cats who have had kittens. I had cats all of my life. The ones who were held and petted as young kittens turned out to be the most loving cats.

Very carefully, gently raise them up.You can scoop them up in your whole hand, making sure they feel safe and secure.Put them on you shirt,by your neck,so they are close. They need warmth.Do this in front of the mommy, let her check you out,see where her baby is,let her lick your hand-if she will-let her lick her baby while you are holding the baby-if it needs.Tell the mommy cat softly that the baby is right here, and your not going anywhere and her baby is OK.If you talk softly and let the mommy cat see her baby, then she will feel better about it.If she hisses while you are picking up the baby,DON'T pick the kitten up!It could be cleaning or feeding time. And a mommy cat is very particular about that.YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAN shirt and extra sanitized, clean hands.A mother cat doesn't like how we taste on her babies. And if you handle them too much, the mommy will either eat her babies or she will abandon them.9 times out of 10,she will abandon them...But other than that, they are cute and wobbly.Curious and mischievous.Put bells on the collars so you don't loose them when they are of the age to eat and litter trained on their own...HAVE FUN,I'M JEALOUS...

Yes, you can pick them up. Just be gentle and don't jostle them around much. Dont take them too far from the mother as that will make her nervous. Make sure you let her see that you have given them back and then she will be more relaxed with you touching them! Good luck :)

I was holding kittens when their eyes were barely open lol. the mom was P.O.ed but who cares what she thinks. lol. You can hold them just be really careful and make sure the mom isnt extremely mad... my cats live outdoors and i held them once so she moved them... so as long as you know where they will end up go for it lol
