I do believe or maybe I just "want" to believe in that. (believing is the only way I can cope with losing my Mom) I am just wondering what your opinions are on it. Thanks!

I do believe that WE go on after that thing we call, "Death". To me death and birth are the same thing... a transition. And your mom has made the transition into the "afterlife". However it isn't an afterlife as we think of it because, Life neither begins nor ends. It always was, is, and it will always be. It is our true home, the Other Side. We are Spirit. Spirit and Life are the same thing. Ghosts on the other hand are Earth bound spirits. They choose to stay around because they either are unaware they are "dead", or they are tied to this plane because they can't let go.
If you quiet your mind and listen to your feelings, you know the soul that was your mother is always with you, and She comes around you often... you know this.

If you think that 'ghosts' are a part of people left over when they die, the Bible does NOT agree.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.
So what haunts houses???
It is demons.
they exist.
Matthew chapter 8 and Luke chapter 5.
the demons that Jesus drove...out of a man and into a herd of pigs.

I certainly do believe in afterlife, and that ppl will meet again, but i dont believe in ghosts or spirits in the sense that they are dead ppl who wander around in our world!
But again, i believe that when u go visit ur mother's grave, she knows ur there and she listens to every word ur telling her, and she does miss u too, ive no doubt about it.

Have faith that your Mother is out there somewhere.Otherwise what would be the point .We're born and we die.After that......who knows?
As for spirits and ghosts,we've all heard of haunted houses.

weather we believe it or not we are eternal creatures and yes there is a life after death for everyone. But it depends on our spiritual life where we will spend it.
