If pulse generator is used instead of the clock block, do you know what is a resonable period? (Matlab)?

If pulse generator is used instead of the clock block, do you know what is a resonable period? If out of the menu for the pulse generator I have:
'Pulse Type': time based
'Time (t)': Use simulation time
'Amplitude': 1
'Period': 2
'Pulse Width': 50
'Phase Delay':0
and 'Iterpret vector parameters as 1-D' checked.

Because I am trying to use the pulse generator as a clock to input into each of 3 JK flip flop clock ports. When this is performed with a period of 2 I am not getting the correct truth table outputted from the JK flip flops (3 bit up/down counter).

if your doing a simulation just for a simulation then make the clock a 20Mhz clock. thats normal
